Wiki Loves AfroLiterature is a campaign to celebrate and improve Wikipedia content related to African literature, including notable African writers, novels, poetry, publishing houses, literary awards, and cultural movements. The campaign invites volunteers, students, librarians, literature enthusiasts, and experienced editors to help make African stories more visible online.

Running from November 1 to December 31, 2025, this campaign combines hands-on training, community support, and a focused editing sprint to improve knowledge equity and content depth for African topics. This project supports Wikimedia Movement Strategy goals: Knowledge Equity, Content Quality, and Capacity Building.

Wiki Science South Africa 2025 is a scientific photo contest for research photographs organised by Wikimedia Community South Africa aiming to promote and engage people with science in South Africa and beyond. The competition runs from 1 November 2025 to 15 December 2025. Wikimedia South Africa is organising the South African arm of the competition. A very special category for Wiki Science in South Africa is the Endemic species category. Wiki Science South Africa 2025 is part of the international Wiki Loves Science photography competition.
